Rug Yarn made at the North Ronaldsay wool mill- a core of hair yarn wrapped in hair and wool fibres to make a reinforced roving suitable for plain weaving.
This rug has a heavy duty cotton warp and rug yarn made with north ronaldsay kemp as well as wool from a finnish sheep breed (in my stash for years just trying to find a use for it)
Rug is quite soft but also hard wearing. It will shed some hair fibres for a while but after some use this will happen less.
With beautiful russet brown and off white stripes this rug will complement a lot of different interiors.
Not designed for very heavy traffic or a lot of dirt.
Wash on delicate or wool machine wash cycles. Do not tumble dry
