Handwoven on my vintage floor loom, using hand dyed north ronaldsay weft on a white shetland warp, this throw has multiple uses- the bed, the sofa, its even soft enough to wrap around yourself for a winter outing!
Spot dyed yarns in the colours of the Mirrie Dancers or Aurora Borealis, something being so far north we often get the opportunity to view (though you need to wear a throw like this if you do as it tends to be blooming cold too!)
As with all my weavings items are made singly or, at most, double (longer warp, usually for cushions), so each item is ewe-nique.
